Kauffman Farms history

Family owned and operated since 1961. Kauffman farms became a local landmark for good, hardy, and fresh produce in 1987. Graduating from Deleware Valley College in 1987 Douglas studied agronomy as well as his father; In order to provide you an exceptional product from seed to field to you the consumer. In 2002 the farm was taken to new heights expanding to not just the farmstead but tailgate markets, farm market, and wholesale.

Kauffman Farms knowledge

We are a family oriented farm based collective who strives for excellence and the ability to bring fresh, nutritious, and quality safe produce from our family to yours. The farm uses cover crops, compost, and animal manures on over 60 acres of land to provide nutrients to lessen dependency on man made pesticides or fertilizers. We call our crops sustainable avoiding the use of chemicals unless crop failure is imminent, Irrigation is also used to relieve stress and improve crop quality. We provide everything from farm fresh eggs to pumpkins and cantaloupes to mums.  All Kauffman Farms produce is hand picked and carefully inspected for safety and 100% satisfaction
